New Asta Siteprogress Field Evidence module to simplify compliance and site audits

We’ve added a new Field Evidence module to Asta Siteprogress so site teams can capture, approve and report field evidence in a few simple steps, straight from phone to programme.

The module connects to your Asta Powerproject schedule and automatically creates checkpoints where photo evidence is needed, especially for UK Building Regulations Part L. When tasks are exported, site teams get clear prompts to take geo‑tagged, date‑ and time‑stamped photos, send them for internal review, and generate audit‑ready PDF reports when everything is approved.

What it does

  • Builds capture points from your Asta Powerproject or Vision schedule so key items don’t get missed.
  • Gives site teams a simple mobile task list where they can add photos and notes in one place.
  • Adds geo‑location plus date and time to every photo for a solid audit trail.
  • Lets admins approve or reject evidence before it updates reports and the programme.
  • Creates consistent PDF reports to support Part L, SAP assessors and wider audit needs.

The first release focuses on Part L for new builds and renovations, but Field Evidence is designed for much more. You can use the same approach for quality checks, health and safety inspections, snagging, remedial works, fire safety and Golden Thread records.

Why teams will like it

  • Keeps Part L compliance on track with a clear, repeatable checklist per plot or asset.
  • Cuts out re‑keying and hunting for photos in emails, drives and chat threads.
  • Saves time for site managers, SHEQ leads and project managers with automated prompts and ready‑made reports.
  • Makes it easier to keep everyone aligned – from site and office to SAP assessors and warranty providers – with clear visual evidence.

Field Evidence is available as an add‑on to Asta Siteprogress, with flexible licensing that supports rolling it out across many projects and users. If you’re already using Asta Siteprogress, you can trial Field Evidence on a live project and compare it to your current way of managing Part L or site audits.
