Asta 2026.3 arrives with project intelligence and connected planning built-in

Eleco, a leading provider of software solutions for the built environment, has announced the release of Asta 2026.3, in the UK and Ireland, an update to Asta Powerproject and Asta Vision designed to help construction organisations turn programme data into even clearer project and portfolio insight.

The release has been shaped by feedback from Asta customers through our User Group series, with the latest improvements focused on the visibility, reporting and programme control challenges teams face day to day.

At the centre of the Autumn 2026 release is a new native dashboard framework within Asta Vision, giving teams built-in access to project and portfolio reporting without the need for a separate BI tool.
The release also introduces native Primavera P6 interoperability add-ins, intelligent baseline management and improved access to historical programme data, helping organisations improve reporting, strengthen governance and visibility across different planning environments. Asta 2026.3 also moves Asta Powerproject onto a new licensing platform, supporting long-term security and compliance continuity for customers.

Built-in project intelligence within Asta Vision

Asta 2026.3 modernises the underlying business intelligence platform within Asta Vision, introducing a new dashboard framework that makes programme information easier to understand and use across project and portfolio teams.

Built-in dashboards provide clearer insight into areas such as programme reliability, schedule health and critical path performance, helping organisations identify issues earlier and monitor performance more consistently.

Dashboards can also be configured around an organisation’s Asta Vision and Asta Powerproject setup, providing a flexible reporting foundation without introducing additional data-entry requirements.
Asta Vision can now retain richer historical programme information, giving organisations a clearer view of how programme performance changes over time while maintaining existing reports, calculations and workflows.

Connecting Asta and Primavera P6 planning environments

Asta 2026.3 also strengthens interoperability with Primavera P6, supporting organisations that work across different planning tools and project environments.

New data validation tools now enhance the process of moving between the products, improving compatibility when working across different platforms.

Further, P6 programme information can now be managed through Asta Vision’s existing processes for reporting, governance and version management, giving organisations greater consistency across mixed planning environments.

This allows individual project teams to continue working with the planning tools suited to their requirements while giving the wider organisation a more consistent view of programme information.

A clearer view of programme change

The 2026.3 release also introduces smarter baseline management for Asta Powerproject programmes managed through Asta Vision.

Improved change detection means baseline history can reflect genuine programme changes rather than creating a new revision at every check-in.

For planners and project teams, this provides a cleaner and more meaningful history of how programmes are evolving, making it easier to identify and understand the changes that matter while maintaining existing workflows.

Further Asta Vision enhancements include delegated permissions that allow planners to add existing projects without requiring full administrator access, alongside expanded API capabilities and webhook notifications to support connections with wider enterprise systems.

Together, these improvements are designed to make programme data more valuable across the business, helping construction organisations identify risk earlier, understand how programmes are changing and act before issues have a greater impact on time and cost. By strengthening project control and creating a more trusted view of programme performance, Asta 2026.3 supports more predictable delivery, helps protect project margin and gives teams greater confidence when managing projects and making future tender commitments.

Gerry Kelliher – Managing Director, UK & Ireland, Eleco

“Construction organisations already hold significant amounts of valuable programme data, but the real opportunity is using that information to spot delays earlier, make better decisions and protect project profitability.

Asta 2026.3 is an important step in our Connected Planning Intelligence strategy. With project and portfolio dashboards directly in Asta Vision, improved connectivity between planning systems and clearer tracking of how programme dates change over time, customers can spend less time compiling reports, quickly identify projects falling behind and focus management attention where it matters most.”
