As the challenges facing construction teams change and evolve, Asta Powerproject needs to be flexible enough to adapt to change, while continuing to deliver a consistent and reliable experience for the thousands of users already relying on it to deliver project excellence.

As part of our ongoing product development and commitment to our users, we take feedback on board and this insight helps to inform product updates. Launching mid-June, Asta Powerproject 2026 introduces requested features and functionality updates to further enhance project planning and execution.

On the new updates, Elecosoft’s Head of Innovation Mark Chapman said: “Building the best processes to ensure reliable project planning with team buy in needs to be supported by tools that are adaptable to a wide range of circumstances and can manage the increasing complexity and size of projects that we face as an industry.

“Continuing to actively seek feedback from our users and people that want to switch to Asta from other solutions is as important to us as the projects that we support and it’s why Asta Powerproject is the go-to planning tool for so many in the construction industry.”

Here’s a run-down of the new updates.

  • Seamless transition between versions
  • Removes adoption barriers
  • Enables mixed-version environments

Vision/Vision Live Updates

Why it matters: The previous workflow required creating projects in Vision first, which was a far clunkier process.

Benefits:

  • Streamlined workflow between applications
  • Reduced platform switching
  • Faster project setup

Project Revision Management

What changed: The ability to delete project revisions, and the introduction of revision categories.

Why it matters: These features help keep historical data organised and relevant.

Benefits:

  • Better housekeeping of project versions
  • Improved organisation
  • More control over project history
