Values and culture

The culture of our business is paramount to the successful delivery of our strategy and strategic objectives. The foundation of a good culture are its shared cultural values and associated behaviours: our cultural values (what we see) are derived from our brand values (what the customer sees) and they have been translated into a set of behaviours. This “behavioural framework” gives us a shared vision which acts as a navigation tool for our daily interactions and clearly outlines our expectations of each other.

On a really good day, what do you love about your job?

What I like most about my work, is to have customer contacts of various kinds. It can be about helping a customer with a tricky support question, demonstrating a software, discussing service assignments with a customer, etc. After all, it is the customers who make sure that we have a meaningful everyday life … But, one must not forget the importance of having good co-workers. Not just the people in our department, but everyone in the company. After all, we spend a large part of the day’s hours together …

Helping customers. This could include helping a potential customer choose and buy one of our software products or helping a customer resolve any software issues. If I receive positive feedback from a customer because they are happy with our software or service, then this makes me happy.

Again, in almost 6 years I have been one of few resources in the US. I love the fact that the company has such trust and belief in me and my skills to be such a voice and presence for them, especially as a female in the industry. I feel respected and relied upon and even though I am often here on my own, I feel that the company does a good job of making me feel a part of it and included.

To be of importance for our customers in serving them with our knowledge and solve their problems or give them good advice.

I enjoy problem solving – it’s a wonderful feeling to be able to suggest and produce effective resolutions for issues and requests.

When one of my team gets praised by a customer. This means they’re doing a great job which in turn it means I’m doing a good job.

Acknowledgement and validation of my designs from colleagues and external user groups, exhibiting not only my ability to successfully reshape the products but the chance to guide the teams to consider patterned design logic.

Find a customer problem and solve it in a fast and reliable way.

The people – I enjoy running payroll/pension and the interaction I have with staff

Our products are so vast and complex that and I enjoy the fact there is always something to learn. The rewards that come with problem solving, completing tasks and developing our products further is very satisfactory.
