4D planning just got easier

We are pleased to announce the latest market release of Asta Powerproject 4D, our 4D planning and project management software.
Asta Powerproject 4D is an integrated module for Asta Powerproject which enables you to easily link the tasks in your project plan with 3D model components for 4D planning in one application. This makes it ideal for tendering, communication and progress monitoring.
The latest release introduces specifically targeted 4D planning updates designed to increase engagement, improve productivity and empower team decision making. Headline benefits include:

  • automatically create a first pass schedule from a 3D model
  • slice open 3D models to visualise and communicate key build stages
  • sequence and communicate site logistics and identify health and safety concerns.

Jonathan Hunter, Chief Executive Officer, commented:

“Elecosoft’s Asta Powerproject is arguably one of the world’s most sophisticated project planning and scheduling software solutions for construction. This latest release brings projects to life in real-time 4D BIM through an enhanced interface that supports communication, collaboration and better decision making. Increasing challenges on material costs, labour shortages, improved productivity and sustainability requires decision making based on reliable data and scenario planning which is why Asta Powerproject continues to be used by so many of the leading planners in the industry.”
