ELECO plc, the AIM listed construction software specialist operating in the UK, Sweden and Germany, is pleased to announce a preview of its latest Building Information Modeling (“BIM”) and mobile software technologies at its National User Forum, which will take place today at the British Museum and will he attended by many leading UK construction contractors, architects and engineers.
The National User Forum announces the availability of a new version of Asta Powerproject, which will incorporate 4D planning capabilities among other improvements, all in a single, cloud-connected application. Asta Powerproject is Asta Development’s leading project management software tool and is already used by a large majority of the top 100 main contractors in the UK. It has been employed internationally in the construction of many outstanding buildings, including the Shard in London and the Reichtag in Berlin.
Asta Development will also preview its new approach to BIM solutions, which is designed to facilitate the takeup of BIM by contractors and encourage cross-functional collaboration, by connecting its BIM solution with other ELECO Software programmes, such as its visualisation (ELECO Arcon® 3D)and estimation tools (Consultec Bidcon®).
In addition, Asta Development will also unveil its mobile app and Cloud storage solution, which is designed to deliver easy, accurate and flexible on-site progress reporting to Asta Powerproject users.
